About the Guest: Dr. Ryan Wohlfert Dr. Ryan Wohlfert grew up in a small town outside of Lansing, Michigan. An acute interest in health and fitness led him to study at the University of Michigan where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in Kinesiology-Movement Science. Dr. Wohlfert went on to earn another Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude status, and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic. Dr. Wohlfert is also a Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) and Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).
Over the last two decades, Dr. Wohlfert owned multiple chiropractic, health, and nutrition clinics, helping 1,000's of patients achieve their health goals. In 2016, he started FitFamilyMan.com to help dads and husbands build their “Family Man 6-Pack” so they can live an abundant life and take care of their family forever.
Dr. Wohlfert has been married to his wife for 15 years and they’re raising three beautiful girls. They are the reason he strives to be a fit family man.
What is the Abundance Mindset? John Maxwell, Peter Diamandis, and Tony Robbins all emphasize a mindset of abundance. Steven Covey discusses abundance extensively in "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." However, the dictionary does not define an abundance mindset.
To define and understand the abundance mindset, it is easiest to look at the alternative, scarcity. The person with a scarcity or fixed mindset believes life is a zero-sum game. If someone has more, this means someone else must have less.
The abundance mindset is different. It is the belief in a life of plenty. There is more than enough to go around. Whether it is resources, wealth, health, or opportunity, there is an abundance of resources available.
