Easy, Informative, and Fun
The host’s conversation style helps the conversation flow easily and honestly. The nearly hour-long episodes fly by and it feels like only 20 minutes have passed. I get to learn with every podcast and find ways to push myself as an educator without feeling guilty that I wasn’t doing enough. Looking forward to hearing more guests and watching the show grow.
Storytelling for Growth
I appreciate this podcast because it allows us to look at teaching from a storytelling perspective. Too often we are caught up with the technical minutiae of teaching that we forget that most of teaching is about relationships - hearing and guiding the stories of our students and colleagues to better shape their experience and the world. I think this podcast has brought that back into perspective for me. I can’t wait to hear more!
Hungry for more!
As a teacher in the Bay Area, of course, I love hearing about other teachers’ experiences from across our country, especially from teachers of color! We need to lift up, listen to, & follow the words of these teachers & leaders. Listening to Beina’s experience of teaching in the south and her advice of looking inward was so inspiring. I cannot wait until the next episode!
