Great Podcast

I first heard Tim Muehlhoff speak at a conference and discovered this podcast. The topics they cover are excellent and they both do a great job with the podcast. Happy to have this resource to listen to.

Very useful

I have found this podcast to be incredibly thought provoking and useful in helping me understand other people better. I highly recommend the episodes on the art of listening as a good starting place. Not only do Chris and Tim present research and biblical concepts on how to approach conflict- they are good at giving applicational hints. It’s been such a pleasure to hear Christians speak and discuss such important issues.

Stopped listening after march 1, 2017 podcast

These guys do have wonderful insights on marriage. Sometimes.

But I went back in my feed, listened to the 3-1-17 podcast, and their whining about "wimpy kids." About halfway through the podcast, several of the guys were boasting about how they worked their way through college, bemoaning how kids don't do that anymore.

Yeah, guys. That's because you can't.

Tuition and fees at BIOLA costs $38k per year. Adding in books and living expenses, that's $51k per year. What kind of kid makes that much money at a job working their way through college? NONE OF THEM. That's an entry level tuition, if you're lucky, AFTER college. The cost of college tuition has skyrocketed since these guys had to pay tuition. Talking like this is insensitive and seriously reeks of "ivory tower-ness." I just can't listen to people who lack empathy and common sense!!
