In fact, quite a few pieces of technology that we use in our daily lives originated in Hollywood-produced films. This week, Nick is once again joined by his trusty producer and best friend, Brett Brooks, to chat about Hollywood’s tech predictions and what they got right…and wrong. Nick and Brett dive into some of the most well-known Sci-Fi films and television shows including Back To The Future II, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Trek, The Terminator, and Minority Report. They even talk about how The Cable Guy and Jim Carrey accurately predicted life in 2021, and how Enemy of The State confirmed everything we already suspected about government surveillance tech.
