He is also president of Projects in 19th-Century Art, a firm he established to pursue research, writing, and curating opportunities. Based in New York City, Trippi directed the Dahesh Museum of Art and co-curated international touring exhibitions devoted to the 19th-century painters J.W. Waterhouse and Lawrence Alma-Tadema. His current exhibition, Artful Stories: Paintings from Historic New England, is on view at the Eustis Estate in Milton, Massachusetts, through October 2021.

    Guest: Jason Chen is a Philadelphia-based photographer who specializes in fashion, editorial, and alternative process photography. He's also the co-founder/co-owner of Paradigm Gallery + Studio and Juggling Wolf. Jason currently practices photo weaving. He began using two images taken within seconds of each other, then cutting and weaving them together. Because of his background in film and animation, Jason explores ways to incorporate the “Fourth Dimension” - Time - into his work. Photo weaving allows him to do this by exploring movement and mutation. His artwork has been featured in galleries across the country and overseas.

She immediately fell in love with their atmosphere and all the possibilities they offer. She then created Artfairmag to promote these fairs, regardless their size or prestige. Since September, she has also interviewed influential art dealers in their field.

Loving my weekly Artist Buisness Plan Pod Cast!
Just finished another episode and really appreciate the indispensable advice that Jame’s and Alex are sharing! Loved Karin Braun’s insight and compassion about being yourself when sharing on social media and also really enjoyed Danielle Krysa of The Jealous Curator was so fresh and funny and brilliant in her insights as well. Such a great dichotomy of information from all types of artist perspective !

Alex gets great interview subjects! Some of the guests are doling out important career advice such as the most recent one with art fair expert Pauline Loeb-Obrenan and some are just great interesting voices such as Christopher Jobson founder of Colossal. I really look forward to seeing who they talk to next!
