Great for newbies to the self publishing world

I have been following Carla’s career for sometime now largely through emails and her blog. I am so happy to finally begin catching up on these podcasts. The one with Robin Cutler of Ingram spark was amazing, chock full of good information, tips, and recommendations for those just starting out in the self pub world. I am grateful to Carla for doing these and appreciate the wonderful guests that she has on, as well as for her updated writing self pub.

Info Packed for Indie Authors

Independent publishing (self publishing) has become such big business that you need a guide to sort out the good stuff from those who just want to cash in on the trend. Carla does just that, personally vetting all the different service providers. Publishing, distribution, printing, formatting, marketing - it's all here in illuminating interviews. Carla has tried them all and saves us a ton of time and effort. Listen and learn.

Clear, Lyrical, Concise and VERY Informative

Greetings Listener,

I used Carla's book – Self-Pub Boot Camp – extensively to self-publish my own book. I subscribe to all her stuff so when I got the email about the podcast, I checked it out..

I listen to a lot of podcasts, mostly in tech, though. I find that a lot of Self-Publishing podcasts ramble a lot. Carla asks focused questions and her voice has a pleasant lyrical quality which is important to me as audio is my life. I listen to seasoned journalists and asking the right questions in the proper flow and cadence is essential for the assimilation of information.
Plus, the Author Friendly Podcast is light and fun – lyrical. A story.

I think the most important thing is that I trust Carla and I don't trust many in the media/internet world.

I endorse one of the other reviews – her guests are icons of all the major pillars of the self-publishing sphere, so the previous episodes are rich and informative.

I highly recommend this podcast for seasoned writers who want the latest info, and for lost-and-confused people like me that are looking for a beacon in the mist.
