The Autism Coffee shop meets Laura Kerbey, from Positive Autism Support and Training!
What an absolutely lush conversation! It was great to get to know more about Laura, and to see how she is using her experience, insight and passion to educate, help and support so many others across the globe!
From her awesome website:
I have been working with children and young people with autism and other special needs for over 20 years. I started my teaching career in Further Education, and have worked in the Supported Learning Department of 2 large Mainstream Colleges teaching Numeracy, Literacy, Life Skills and Childcare. I also worked as the Life Skills Co-ordinator at a residential college for young people with severe physical disabilities.
My passion has always been working with young people with autism - I believe that they have so much to offer, and yet the education system often fails them because staff do not have the right skills and experience. This is something I am passionate about changing!

Recorded before Christmas, The Autistic Coffee Shops meets Sian Hill. "Therapeutic coach, educator, relational and developmental trauma specialist"
Sian works with families, training and supporting them, helping all to understand trauma and to develop resilience. Understanding the nervous system, so all can heal and break cycles of trauma.
"Hello there, I’m Sian.
I’m a therapeutic coach, educator, and relational and developmental trauma specialist. I teach parents how to work with the nervous system so they can support, nurture and heal themselves and their children, and break generational cycles of trauma.
I’ve done all the hard work for you so your journey can be quicker and easier than mine.
I don’t want you and your children to go through the pain, heartbreak and suffering my kids and I did… especially when you don’t have to."
She has taught nationally and globally in this area, see her awesome website, sianhill.com.
