Last night at my Mommy & Me group monthly meeting (going strong for 5+ years with the same group of mamas, gah!) , our therapist/instructor said "We have to be intentional about THRIVING in these years of Motherhood and not just SURVIVING."
This goes along with making an effort to be intentional that your energy and your time and your needs, are part of making the decisions when you have young kids.
We aren't bad moms for spending time on our needs and saying "No" because that is what is the best fit for
