Where Will Batman: Caped Crusader Stream?

Where Will Batman: Caped Crusader Stream?

After a week off and another brand new interview, the podcast is back with a news roundup episode. While there may not have been a bunch of news the past few weeks, there were some interesting things that are in need of discussion. One of those is where will Batman: Caped Crusader stream? There was another shift with the release schedule for DC Films, and Batman Day is right around the corner.

The main topic for the show is where will Batman: Caped Crusader stream? There was a report that was released stating Apple, Netflix, and Hulu are likely the places that the new animated series will be calling home. While nothing is set in stone, Dustin and Scott discuss, out of the group, which one is the most likely and which one will be the best for the show. And despite some rumblings on why Disney+ could be a great home for the series, they point out the issues with that theory as well.

On the topic of DC Films, there were two things that popped up over the past month. The first is that Dan Lin was rumored for the top DC Entertainment position, and then ultimately, it didn’t pan out. The release schedule was the other DC Films news, and Dustin and Scott dive into what the new dates mean.

The episode wraps with details for Batman Day 2022 as it takes place on September 17, 2022. You can find full details for the event over at DC.

    The Zack Snyder Controversy

    The Zack Snyder Controversy

A few weeks back, there was a major report that was released stating that the Zack Snyder Cut was marred with controversy. Most fans would know this is possible if for no other reason than the massive online campaign to get the film released. But what if Snyder himself had a larger role in making it happen?

Rolling Stone published a report stating that Snyder may have been involved in funding the campaign from behind the scenes. In addition, he also took part in several things that wouldn’t be widely accepted, including stealing hard drives with content from Warner Bros. when he was replaced on the film. How does this situation connect to the recent Batgirl cancellation?

But before diving into the Zack Snyder controversy, Dustin, Scott, and BJ also discuss some of the latest news stories as well. What will happen to Batman: Caped Crusader if it is not heading to HBO Max? What villains will be featured in Gotham Knights? What does Matt Reeves’ new deal with WB mean for the Batman Universe?

All of this and more is on the latest episode of The Batman Universe Podcast.

Pretty good, respectful, knowledgeable podcast

Pretty good show, even if they seem to have stopped updating a long time ago. These guys are knowledgeable of everything Batman related and respectful of the various interpretations and adaptions. They are good fans.

Terrible Takes on The Batman

Just a bunch of whiney babies who go into moves looking for what not to like. Literally haven’t heard anyone try to be so negative about what was a really solid movie. Just a bunch of Twitter trolls with a podcast

Lacking knowledge in current topics

I just found this show today, and overall I liked it. But I don’t know how you can have a Batman podcast and not know a lot of the information that’s been out there for months. Regarding the new Batman film, flash and other topics you guys must have missed a lot of casting, storylines and info that we have already heard. I will continue to listen but do ALOT more research and be up to date on what you’re talking about.
