A Conversation Rather Than a Sermon
More like a conversation about a life change than any kind of generic fitness "go get 'em." As someone who has struggled with being overweight my entire life, it is helpful to realize that you aren't alone in that struggle and others face the same challenges you face when trying to make a better life for yourself. I think it takes a lot of courage to have this open a conversation about something so personal, and I think it can help a lot of people who are going through the same struggle to just have someone talking about that struggle instead of preaching at them.
Honest & Brave
We all struggle with one thing or another. We tend to focus on ourselves and don’t see our friends or family battling their struggles. Steve’s account of his physical and mental health hits close to home for a lot of people. His podcast is honest and brave. Keep up the good work Steve!
A Partner in Your Wellness Journey
I appreciate Steve’s openness and vulnerability on this podcast. Hearing his daily ups and downs during his journey to complete wellness is both inspiring and relatable. Listening to his twice a week, diary format podcast keeps me focused on my own wellness journey and lets me know I’m not alone.
