Ben is brilliant from a technical perspective. Love his thoughts on geopolitics and economic matters. Where he falls down mightily is that he is self appointed as the de facto morality police. He has led a very privileged life, and does not allow for any nuance whatsoever for those who do not have a traditional family structure. He fails to recognize that tragedy and trauma interrupt good intentions and that not everyone can have the perfect family life despite their efforts.

I used to listen to Shapiro and thought he was great — until I started listening to actual conservative non-uniparty podcasts and realized what a shill this clown is. If you’re a Mitt Romney/Mitch McConnell/Lindsey Graham conservative, this guy is for you! If you want someone in tune with what’s actually going on, give Chris Paul a listen.
