How To Take Your Friends With You

How To Take Your Friends With You

Do you know what we don't talk about enough?

How much it sucks that you can't take everyone with you.

    What did Nip say?

ᴇᴠᴇʀʏ ꜰᴇᴡ ꜱʜᴏᴡꜱ, ɪ ᴊᴜꜱᴛ ʙᴜʏ ꜱᴏᴍᴇ ɴᴇᴡ ɢᴏʟᴅ /

ᴄɪʀᴄʟᴇ ɢᴏᴛ ꜱᴍᴀʟʟᴇʀ, ᴇᴠᴇʀʏʙᴏᴅʏ ᴄᴀɴ'ᴛ ɢᴏ - ɴɪᴘꜱᴇʏ ʜᴜꜱꜱʟᴇ

...and it's true. As much as you may want to bring everyone; everybody can't go.

So let's change the title of this one.

How to take a few people with you:

    1. Figure out where you're going.

I want to be clear here.

When I say take everyone with you I mean to the place where you achieve your ideal time freedom.

That's how I like to measure success by the way.

Time freedom is how much of your time you get to spend doing exactly what you want... without compromise.

Time freedom is directly related to happiness.

So that's where we're going. Happiness.

You wanna be happy? Keep reading.

    2. Now, figure out how you're going to get there.

For entrepreneurs, this usually means starting a business and offering a service that we enjoy providing.

If you think about it, most businesses sell just one thing. Happiness.

    Insurance agents sell happiness policies.

The client is happy when it protects them from a loss.

    Barbers sell happiness.

The client is happy when the cut gets compliments.

    Graphic designers sell happiness.

The client is happy when their branding attracts their ideal customers.

That's what most business is about. Turning frowns upside down.

    Or better stated... fixing problems.

    3. Share your happy

    This is the important part.

Sharing how you spend your time will attract the people who want to spend their time the way you spend your time.

This is why infomercials with happy people partying on a boat worked so well selling courses. Those guys were sharing a lifestyle and selling stop by step instructions on how to achieve their level of time freedom.

The people who are close to you and want the same kind of happiness you have will ask for the instructions.

Congratulations!! You found the ones you can take with you.

Everyone else? You let them find their way and avoid putting energy and resources into convincing them that your version of happiness is the version they should want.

How To Turn Your Friends & Family Into Loyal Customers

How To Turn Your Friends & Family Into Loyal Customers

As frustrating as it may be that your friends and family aren’t “supporting” you… try to remember that they are your friends and family.

They probably aren’t a reflection of your client avatar and they probably aren’t the people with the biggest problem your service solves.

Here’s how to turn your friends and family into loyal customers…

    1. Establish the value of your product or service in the marketplace.

    2. Become the authority on products and services in your niche.

Your friends and family can support your efforts here by engaging with your post… but if they don’t it’s OK. Your authority comes from your expertise and the content you create around it. Create the content and your audience will find you.

    3. When your friends or family approach you for service be gracious and welcome them. Make sure you provide them with excellent service just like you would everyone else and ask them for referrals… just like you would everyone else.

    That’s it.

    That’s all it takes.

    …and here’s the best part.

When your friends and family buy from you it’ll feel so good because they aren’t doing you a favor. You’re literally protecting them from other providers in your market who might take advantage of them.

When I sold cars the deals that felt best were the ones that I made with you guys. Literally the friends and family I grew up with, went to school with, got in fights with & against… because at the end of the day I knew that I was making sure you guys were getting the best possible treatment.

    That’s how you do it.

Focus on becoming the authority and when it’s time for you to be your inner circles hero you can.

    How To Decide

    How To Decide

A HUGE part of the reason you aren’t seeing the results you want to see is because you’re afraid to make a decision. You keep going back and forth between your options. You’re stuck on the pros and cons. You keep asking yourself “what if this doesn’t work?” You’re so caught up in the possibility that it MIGHT not work that you can’t even think for a second, “WHAT IF IT DOES WORK?”

Success as an entrepreneur (or in anything) doesn’t mean that you made all the right decisions. It means you made a decision and you made THAT decision right.

You’re over there in your head, RIGHT NOW about something. Just put a DECISION out there and let it WORK!
