Fr. Schmitz doesn’t gloss over the hard parts

One of the greatest successes of 2021 is the thousands of people who read the Bible in a Year with Fr. Schmitz. I don’t know what the world needed after the tumultuous Trump-Covid-Elecetion year in 2020, but Fr. Schmitz did. And the guidance we all needed is here, in this podcast, available for free. You’ll not regret listening, and hearing the how amid the chaos and savagery man is capable, God chose to send a Savior. His name is Jesus, and he loves you.

Awesome!

I'm so grateful for Bible in a year. I have a hard time reading or getting through any book so the Bible would have been nearly impossible but with this Bible in a year pod cast, I can take it little by little and with the wonderful explanation. I feel super close to God and better understanding of his word and my purpose and his will for me. Amen thank you Father Mike and team for putting this together and making it possible.

God send!

Started listening to Fr Mike a bit late into the year, but now listen to 2 episodes each morning in my sauna, which gives me 2 things to look forward to each day! Almost caught up and all I can say is Wow, Wow, Wow! My faith and knowledge have increased exponentially and I can’t wait to start over again January 1st. Listening to Maccabees has been especially rewarding in understanding the approximate history of the Jews between Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar and that era’s unique influence on the 1st century Palestine milieu Christ and His Apostles birthed the Church in. Utterly fascinating!
