Day 22: The God Who Sees (Bible Tribe Genesis 13–16)

Day 22: The God Who Sees (Bible Tribe Genesis 13–16)

One of the most painful things I heard someone say was that they felt unseen. Our significance is felt by others acknowledging our presence, but there is no greater significance than God seeing us. The God who sees us accepts us and never fails to help us.
    Bible Reading: Genesis 1316
Verse of the day: Genesis 16:13
Word of the day: The God Who Sees. It is the Hebrew word: אל ראי (el-roi).

Day 20: The Victim of Unforgiveness (Bible Tribe Matthew 6–8)

So much of our life can be wasted on worrying over grudges. We either ache to be forgiven or refuse to forgive. In the end, we all need forgiveness, but also need to forgive. And the main victim of unforgiveness is ourselves.

Verse of the day: Matthew 6:12, “And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.”

Sometimes waiting for the fulfillment of plans is hard. But God’s plans are certain and can never be thwarted. And friends, His plans are always purposeful plans for our good. Bible Reading: Isaiah 13–18 Verse of the day: Isaiah 14:24, “The LORD Almighty has sworn, ‘Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen.’” Word of the day: Planned.
