💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: We are embarking on a whole new life in Christ Jesus. A life of OBEDIENCE, FAITHFULNESS, and ENDURANCE! Praise God that our "old man" (the sinful nature, without the Holy Spirit, spiritually dead and separated from God because of our transgressions and sins) has died; and we put on the "new man" (the born-again regenerated nature, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified) who is alive in Christ Jesus, zealous to do good works in His Name!! That's the flavor of today's episode!
Romans 6:4, "...just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory and power of the Father, we too might walk habitually in 👉🏾newness of life [abandoning our old ways]." Amen!
Beloved, have you ever said, "If only I could have a do-over?" Have you ever said, "If I get a chance to do it all over again, I'll do it differently?" Huh? I know for me, I've said that many times, ...many, many, many times! And sadly in this present evil age, not many times, if ever, do we have the opportunity to have a "Do-Over!" But guess what? God, our Heavenly Father, has given humanity a chance to have a "do-over!" The BIGGEST Do-Over EVER!!! In Christ, we can be born-again (renewed & sanctified)! As Lord Jesus said in John 3:3, in order for one to inherit the Kingdom of God, "you must be born again."
WE HAVE BEEN REGENERATED AND MADE ANEW! THEREFORE, WE ABANDON ALL OF OUR OLD WICKED WAYS AND HABITS THAT OFFENDED GOD AND LIVE A LIFE OF APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE FOR OUR SALVATION!
We now walk in righteousness, holiness and sanctification. You have been washed [by the atoning sacrifice of Christ], you were sanctified [set apart for God, and made holy], you were justified [declared free of guilt] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God [the source of the believer’s new life and changed behavior]." Amen! Glory to God! We are forbidden to live by our old ways of living that was encrusted in sin! IT'S A NEW DAY BELOVED, IT'S A NEW SEASON, A FRESH ANOINTING IS COMING YOUR WAY!! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
