242 | Are You Good, Sis? (Part Two): Unpacking Motherwounds with Shena of Black Girls Heal

We're coming off the heels of celebrating the mommas and while some of us have amazing relationships with our mothers, we know that's not the case for everyone. The mother daughter dynamic can be explained in many ways. It can be interesting...special...complex...challenging...nonexistent and even hurtful. *Mother wounds enters the chat*
This week we've welcomed back one of absolute favorite homegirls, Shena Leshay of Black Girls Heal to dive deep into the mother wound concept. Shena explains the signs and effects of mother wounds, how to identify if you have a narcissistic mother and most importantly how to heal from a mother wound.

Y’ALL MY GIRLS *cue the Destiny’s Child*

I have been listening to y’all for a while and I love it here! I’m finally doing my part and leaving my review (I felt it was a personal call out because I never did mine but I’m showing up today lol). You guys share such great information and are so raw and relatable, it’s definitely homegirl vibes here. I’m so proud of the growth from sharing personal information, the new recording space and just your lives in general. I can’t wait for what’s to come in the New Year. So ladies if you love the content they are putting out let’s show up and show out with the ratings and reviews!! -Gang (Mia) 🤟🏽

The most genuine podcast

There’s so much relatability in each episode, from your personalities, the jokes, the honestly about where you’re at in life at the moment…the whole thing. I could very well be the one saying everything you’re saying cause I get it!
So much more growth happens in honesty instead of preaching and I love that about this podcast…from serious to not so serious topics
I love it! I would totally watch this in video too

Spotify only ?

Y’all about to lose mad listeners narrowing your audience down to Spotify when you have listeners that listen on all platforms ? Not a smart deal.
