Came for Lovecraft stayed for the great content
Rod and Karen are like friends you can nerd out with. I was looking for a fun podcast that didn’t take itself too seriously that reviews Lovecraft. This is it!! I snort laugh out loud and scare my family members. R & K tackle all sorts of topics and 2 hours just speed by because they’re so funny, thoughtful, genuine, and easy to listen to.
Keep up the amazing work! I already made sure to follow y’all on Spotify. Love you 😭❤️
Karen was right and Rod was right
And both were right and Karen was right and Rod was right.
"...and when they catch you, you get sick and turn into one--that's on me; I'm dyslexic" is still the funniest thing in the world every time I think of it. I miss black people, living overseas and every time I encounter micro aggressions as a minority and an immigrant, I remember the need to support those back home who go through it. To vote, to learn, to listen and to support black voices.
Take these flowers!
Sneaking in to finally put 5 on it before you make your move! Been listening to the podcast for what seems like forever, getting introduced to Rod through the Morning Jones. I listened through all of the progression the show has made, from Rod, Karen, Justin and Will sitting around the same mic, with music in the background, to going premium to help Rod get that tattoo, to now. I’ve been introduced to so many other shows, comedians, activists and more through you guys and I want to give you these flowers while you can smell them. I appreciate all that you two do and I appreciate that I can always count on you to give me a thoughtful, as well as, logical take on what’s going on in the world. Your perspectives are smart, balanced and most importantly, always funny, and add a little levity to what seems like the worst timeline at times. Y’all stay up and I’ll catch you on Spotify!
