The Black New York is a healing and growth outlet for our listeners. Being Black women from one of the most diverse cities in the world, we offer our perspective on what it’s like to be Millennials in New York City. We have conversations on what mental health struggles come with oppression and how to grow from them. We’ll be tackling topics about physical and mental health, beauty, fitness, Amerikkka, culture shifts, and self-care.

We aim to help our listeners find ways to cope and decompress with the changes of life through wellness. We hope to provide a space where the listeners can learn self-acceptance and self-awareness. With your headphones, you now have access to a community that is for us, by us, and allowing you, our listeners a chance to feel validated and be heard.

Can’t get through a, like um, sentence

I so wanted to like this show. Great topics. However, the hosts cannot seem to get through a sentence without saying, “like,” & or “um.” How can you listen to anything they have to like, say...um it makes it like, um difficult to um to like, listen to um you two.Bummer
