    #143 Chemical Mary

Chemical Mary wants the world to have biological weapons, Liz wants Chemical Mary, The Freelancer wants to explode planes, and Cooper may have just exploded his life.
Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.
Case Profile for Chemical Mary Liz’s plan is starting to come together. Or is it? This week we meet Chemical Mary, a woman that believes if the world has nukes that it should also have saran gas and a host of other nasty chemical weapons at its disposal. She is working on a weapon, HeePhoxy, that even the mere touch of it to human skin will shut down all organs of the victim, suffocating them from the inside out. Why Liz wants Chemical Mary? That’s a question for next week.
This week is the how she gets Chemical Mary through the use of the Freelancer. Liz tasks Alban to corrupt a plane’s sensors so that it will crash into another plane. Chemical Mary is supposed to be on that plane but instead she abducts Mary at the airport before she makes it onto the plane and instead tips off red and the task force on how to prevent the crash from happening, giving the FBI the freelancer to put back behind bars. Aram and Cooper however have bigger problems with the flash drive and even though Aram figured out how to read what was on it, that act may have just sealed Cooper a fate of certain doom.
Be sure to answer our profiling question of the week: Will Red kill Cooper? Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.
Chemical Mary in Pictures Here are a just a few of our favorite scenes from this week.

Red's Rhetoric Welcome to Red’s Rhetoric that part of the show where we feature two great scenes from Red himself that part words of wisdom. Then each week you can vote for your favorite here.
This week our first clip comes when Red confronts Liz’s Lawyer about his billing practices. Our second clip comes when Red questions Dr. Grundy on his medical practices.  Which do you like more?  If you feel the hour is running out vote #RedEmergency,  or if your mouth is watering for a single malt vote #RedClub.
The Music for Chemical Mary As Cooper and Red review the terminal footage of Elizabeth potentially sitting there as they try to understand Liz’s plan, we hear “Long Way Down” by Katie Garfield.

    #127 The Wellstone Agency

    #127 The Wellstone Agency

The Wellstone Agency signals trouble for Aram this week as he goes undercover as Red learns about the demise of one of his friends.
Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.
Case Profile for The Wellstone Agency This week on The Blacklist Aram takes center stage as he goes undercover working for The Wellstone Agency,  a group that arranges interpreters for criminals. Turns out Liz hired Wellstone to broker a deal with a criminal as she continues to build out her empire.  In a nice twist on the interpreter angle it turns out the head of the Agency is deaf and Aram needs to sign for his life as Red and the Agency leader broker an arrangement.  We also learned that Aram can speak 6 other languages and Latin but that’s only useful for talking to the Pope.   Meanwhile Agent Park aka she-hulk strikes again as she goes after a man that torched and killed one of her best friends.   Much like the rest of the task force she reaches out to Reddington to cover up her transgression.
But the big focus of the episode was all about Glen, and saying goodbye to the late great Clark Middleton.  Red and Dembe arrive at Glen’s house where we finally meet his mysterious mother Paula.  She informs Steven (Red) and Bill (Dembe) that Glen had passed and that he had one last stick it to Red letter for him.  His dying wish was to have Huey Lewis, yes that Huey Lewis to play his funeral and have his ashes spread at the statue of liberty.  Which Steven, Bill and Huey do over a heartfelt eulogy by Reddington.
Be sure to answer our profiling question of the week: Share with us your favorite memory of Clark aka Glen on the show. Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.

Red's Rhetoric Welcome to Red’s Rhetoric that part of the show where we feature two great scenes from Red himself that part words of wisdom. Then each week you can vote for your favorite here.
This week we just listen to Red's eulogy of Glen one more time.
The Music for The Wellstone Agency While Red and the head of Wellstone chat as Aram signs for his life "No Turning Back" by Claire Guerreso is heard.   Later at Glen’s life celebration we hear "Get Up Let's Go" by Richard Myhill followed by a classic Huey Lewis and The News track as we finish up at the party "We're Not Here for a Long Time, We're Here for a Good Time".

    #140 The Fribourg Confidence

An old bank robber shares the family secret with his next of kin who in turn steals something of value from Reddington.
Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.
Case Profile for The Fribourg Confidence Abraham Moores is an old thief contact of Red’s that he tracks down after he is handed a love note from Elizabeth Keen. Liz apparently has stolen something of value through Abraham at least that's what Red believes until we find out it was his daughter, Jennifer Ann Moores. Ultimately we learn Jennifer was estranged from Abraham, but when he came back into her life, it became obvious that her gift was either imitation or genetic. She was a natural thief. This parent may not have wanted a life of crime for his daughter but she is in the thick of it now.   Sound Familiar?
Meanwhile Liz and Skip are hard at work to spring #145 on The Blacklist, The Freelancer from prison. You remember this guy from  the second episode of the show's first season, the guy that stages big accidents to kill thousands just to take out 1 person.  Why Liz wants this guy out of prison can mean only one thing, she is out to kill Reddington in a big way.

This week our first story comes when Red talks about due respect. Our second comes when Red shares a story about a time he ws captured.   Which was your favorite? With all due respect you should vote for #RedCologne but I guess if you have a keen eye for the written word vote #RedHandwriting
The Music for The Fribourg Confidence At the beginning of the episode this week as the birds attack we hear "James Bond" by Iggy Pop.  There is a cool bed called "Hands Up" that plays when Aram tries to be James Bond at the coffee shop.  Then we close out the episode with “Diviner” by Hayden Thorpe as Cooper and the US Government are hacked by the Russians for sticking a thumb drive in his computer. Not really but be smart Cooper, be smart.

    #1 Elizabeth Keen

    #1 Elizabeth Keen

Liz works her own version of "the list" in a fight for survival and to protect the only thing she has left, her daughter.
Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.
Case Profile for Elizabeth Keen Elizabeth Keen has lost her father, her grandfather, her husband, and according to Liz her mother all because of one man, RED. What started out as a list to catch the worst of the worst Elizabeth has found herself to be enemy numero uno at the very top of The Blacklist.  As Liz looks to escape into hiding to plan her next move against her on again off again crime fighting partner, she looks to take down Red’s empire from the inside.  See Liz has a list of her own and she is doing everything she can to get these big names to flip.  Names like Brimely, Chuck, Morgan, Rutteger, Hede, even Marvin Gerard yes all of them are targets
But remember Red’s cardinal rule, value Loyalty above all else.  Every single attempt Liz makes this week to try and get one of the Syndicate to flip fails at every turn including even the man that went to prison for Red. Luckily there is a new man on the payroll in Skip Hadley and he knows how to play the long game for now.  With Liz finally thinking like a criminal she convinces skip to flip and as a result steals $41M US from Red, scoops up her daughter and flies away to fight another day. Of course not before she hooks up with Ressler for a one night stand.

The Music for Elizabeth Keen Two tunes this week. First we hear "Ruins" from aYia as the team arrives at the train station looking for Liz. Then later in the episode we hear a cover/mashup of "One Way or Another" from Until The Ribbon Breaks.

    16 Ounces

    16 Ounces

A few wires, a radio transmission device, 16 ounces of semtex and one finger is all it takes to finally take down Reddington, or is it?
Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.
Case Profile for 16 Ounces A pound of flesh, and eye for an eye, Revenge isn’t a passion as Reddington once said, it is a disease and right now Liz is the one who is sick.  In this week’s non numbered Episode "16 Ounces", we pick up right after the death of the woman claiming to be Katarina Rostova. Except the crime scene is clean and Red and Liz are nowhere to be found.  Liz begins her revenge quest by turning in her badge and then systematically saying goodbye to each member of the task force while at the same time using them for her personal gain.  She is able to steal 16 ounces of semtex to build a bomb to kill Reddington once and for all for taking her “mother” away.
Liz’s PI is now in deep with Liz since she was the one that planted the bomb that ultimately failed.  That failure, that revenge disease almost cost Liz the one person she holds most dear, and certainly destroyed any friendship she may have with Aram in the future. Thankfully Cooper and Reddington, Liz’s two father figures in her life, still want to save her from this dark path by making her the top of The Blacklist.  How will things pan out? Tune in next week.
Be sure to answer our profiling question of the week: Was Liz right, will Red ever kill Elizabeth Keen? Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.

Liz's Lectures Welcome to Liz’s Lectures that part of the show where we relive some of those arguments or threats from Liz that may or may not turn into greater storylines in the future.   Then each week you can vote for your favorite here.
This week our first story comes when Liz confronts Cooper. Our second comes when Liz confronts Red.  Which was your favorite? If you want to finally take care of things yourself vote #LizMan or if you have what it takes to finish the job vote #LizDrive.
The Music for 16 Ounces Dave’s backing tracks were the big focus this week and then we get to revisit “Martha’s Dream” by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis from The Proposition Soundtrack once again as Liz and Red confront each other outside Dom's house.

    Harry Lennix Interview

    Harry Lennix Interview

Harry Lennix aka Director Cooper on the The Blacklist stops by to chat about life as a Black Actor, his journey as Cooper, and his new African American Museum for Performance Arts.
Support the Show! Be sure to #FillTheFedora on Patreon.
Case Profile for Harry Lennix Terrence “Dresser” Williams, Commander Lock, General Swanwick, Boyd Langton, and – of course – our favorite FBI agent, Harold Cooper. These are just a few of many characters Harry Joseph Lennix III has portrayed over the many years of his enduring career. Each one, different in personality traits, yet carrying one similarity that is quite inescapable: the acting prowess of Harry Lennix. On this special episode of The Blacklist Exposed, Troy and Aaron sit down with Harry Lennix to discuss much more than simply The Blacklist. For an actor with such a storied career, we wanted to learn as much as we could about the only man who dares go toe-to-toe with Red Reddington.
From Lennix’s humble beginning in Chicago, IL, to how his brother almost accidentally inspired Harry’s acting ambitions, to his initial aspirations with the church. Then we segue to Lennix’s lauded career, 30+ years of work with filmmakers including Spike Lee and Zack Snyder (with even more details on that Justice League news), his love of musicals and Shakespeare, before ultimately tackling the role many of us love him more, Harold Cooper. PLUS Harry has also created a new organization in the African American Museum for Performing Arts (AAMPA) which exists digitally today and soon will have a permanent home on the south side of Chicago.
This is an interview any fan of The Blacklist will appreciate, followers of Lennix’s career will love, and any aspiring artist will respect. THIS is our interview with Harry Lennix.

The Best Podcast for a Blacklist Fan!

I’ve been listening for years, but just got an iPhone so now I’m writing a review on here. Troy and Aaron are the best! They never fail to make me laugh out loud in an episode, and their breakdowns and segments are so good that I get annoyed when I listen to different podcasts that don’t have the same type of segments. Plus, they have the best Facebook group for The Blacklist. Honestly, I’m frustrated with the tv show right now but this podcast is my favorite thing about watching The Blacklist. I’m always excited to listen.

Best podcast out here!

I recently binged through the Blacklist until watching The Brockton College Killer live. After the major reveals in the last few episodes I decided I needed to rewatch and at the same time found this podcast. I started listening with The Brockton College Killer, but ended up going back to the episodes from the beginning. This podcast just keeps getting better. It’s awesome to listen to current theories, but even better to see just how right or how very wrong the guys were with their theories. I can’t wait for the Blacklist premiere, but I’m just as excited for new episodes of the podcast! I love your theories and insights! Keep up the good work!!!

Love Aaron and Troy's banter

I look forward to this podcast every week! I love Aaron and Troy's banter. Their relationship is what makes this a great podcast. The interviews are amazing and such a fun way to peek into the inner workings of one of my favorite TV shows. I enjoy Aaron's theories and reality based comments!
