Best show of all time on the best podcast of all time

90210 has been my favorite show for 29 years. I started watching it during its original run and my affection for it has only grown over time. I was ecstatic to find a podcast devoted to this show and even more delighted to listen to the musings of Lizzie and Kat. Brilliant women pontificating on the highs, lows and everything in between. Watching the show now through a 2019 lens has certainly changed my perspective but not my deep love for 90210 (or 9021-ho, as my dad used to call it) and I’m elated that we’ve finally reached season 5. I’m excited to get into Lizzie and Kat’s deep dives on Valerie and Ray, who were such welcome additions to the cast, and I’m even more excited to guest on the podcast and discuss my personal favorite episode, episode 18 Hazardous to your Health. I appreciate what you do Lizzie and Kat, and can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

The content is A+

This podcast makes me laugh very hard. I love the conversations, especially the one about Shen Yun. I wish The Blaze with Lizzie and Kat would make some cross promotional merch with Shen Yun. That would be a true goldmine. My only gripe about the show is how unbalanced the audio is. There is a recent episode where Lizzie is SO MUCH louder than Kat and the sound is so off I can’t even listen to it. In general I think the show could benefit from Lizzie moving away from her mic and Kat moving closer to hers. Fix that and add the Shen Yun crossover merch and I will update that rating to 5 big ones.

Cacophonous

I want to like this podcast, but there’s an excess amount of crosstalk, that renders it, frequently, unintelligible. I’m not sure which one - Lizzie or Kat, is either ceaselessly interrupting, or rudely cutting someone utterance short to quite loudly interject. Too many tangents, that are not anchored, or don’t act as a referent to anything. Just...so much noise.
