Welcome back to the thought-leaders podcast! Yomi Adegoke is again embarking on a journey toward the future this week. She is joined today by Nono Konopka. Nono is an author, entrepreneur, film producer, podcaster and speaker – there’s almost nothing Nono doesn’t love and will do. Well, except for one thing – biking! It is a great twist of fate, then, that this man and his friend traveled from Berlin to Beijing a few years ago – by bicycle. Out of his comfort zone, onto the saddle and straight into the big wide world – and all for a great cause. This journey inspired him to produce “Biking Borders,” one of the most-watched documentaries on Netflix. A crazy journey watched and supported by people from all over the world. He talks to us about his lessons for living a truly fulfilled life, his mission, and new ways of fundraising. #74 The BMW i Vision Circular: four perspectives – one common goal | BMW Podcast

The BMW i Vision Circular is more than just one of the five concept cars BMW presented at last year’s IAA in Munich: It is a work of art both inside and out. A number of creative minds at BMW pooled their expertise, passion and creativity to bring about this masterpiece. They have created the BMW i Vision Circular – the automobile of the future. Today, we want to learn all there is to know about this vehicle. We invited these creative minds to come along, and the result was a kind of panel talk. This episode of Changing Lanes will be new, special, and like no other. Our host Jonathan has not one, not two, but four guests. In this episode, we talk to Kai Langer, Head of BMW i Design; Daniela Bohlinger, Head of Sustainability Design; Dirk Müller Stolz, Head of BMW i Exterior Design; and Matthias Junghanns, Head of BMW i Interior Design. They give us an insight into what a sustainable future could look like at and for BMW, and what they find most exciting about the BMW i Vision Circular. This is an automobile created out of true teamwork. Are you ready for a one-of-a-kind episode of Changing Lanes?

00:30 Welcome to a very special episode
03:20 Kai Langer: “You have to trust yourself.”
20:35 Daniela Bohlinger: “A dream came true”
34:10 Dirk Müller Stolz: “It’s all about the combination: offering premium mobility and respecting the circular economy at the same time.”
45:50 Matthias Junghanns: “The idea of delivering sustainability without sacrifice is very important.

The Saturday morning kids show of auto podcasts

I’m with most other reviewers: this is the baby food version of an educational podcast about cars. Scripted and inoffensive to the point of blandness, the only info I took away from this series is that Sara is in Berlin and Jonathan seems permanently scarred by winters in New Hampshire.

This podcast shows how completely tone deaf BMW is. Instead of respecting listeners, this pablum comes off as both inauthentic and infuriating.

Boring

Not what I expected.

winter olympics

As I watch the olympics I see alot of BMW advertisement! will you do a show on their bobsleds? proce? technology? I'd love to know more!
