Merrily We Roll Along is a 1981 American musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by George Furth. It is based on the 1934 play of the same name by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. Kaylee and I watched the 2012, West End version and react to it accordingly! 

Richard and Anna talk about their time seeing the show! Also Christel, Kelly and Tracy weigh in! WE ALL SAW IT! Not to mention we all saw it within the span of 3 weeks! Super cool! We are all fans!

Come From Away chronicles the real-life experiences of the people of Gander, Newfoundland, and the almost 7000 airline passengers who were forced to land there when US air space was closed on September 11, 2001. Twelve actors tell the story of both the Islanders and the Plane People, revealing the fear and uncertainty that came with the terrorist attacks – as well as the profound generosity and compassion of strangers. While some characters and stories are an amalgamation of several people and experiences, others are grounded in true people, such as Captain Beverly Bass, the first female captain for American Airlines; Kevin Tuerff and Kevin Jung, the couple from LA; and Nick and Diane, the couple who met in Gander.

Christel is here and brings us a fabulous 1970 Musical by Stephen Sondheim! In Company, we see Bobby on the night of his 35th birthday. He struggles to think of a wish to make as he blows out his birthday candles. The lone bachelor, surrounded by “those good and crazy people” -- his married friends -- Robert is uncertain whether he should simply be happy with his lot or whether he should wish for his own romantic partner. 

N2N has always been one of my favorite musicals, ever since I heard about it back in 2009! I was really excited to share it with Anna. There has been some news regarding the lead actress from the show, which I do address, but the bulk of this episode was recorded before we found out about the allegations. So just be warned the first few minutes I talk about some content that regards possible sexual misconduct and emotional abuse. The musical itself also deals with depression and suicidal ideation, so that should be included in this content warning as well. Thank you for your understanding. Hope you appreciate this episode!
