Ep185: Five Different Ways to Get Organized with Shopping and Meal Planning

Ep185: Five Different Ways to Get Organized with Shopping and Meal Planning

Today I’m going to give you what I consider the best 5 ways to get organized in the meal planning department, both when shopping and when coming home from the store. The first four are ones I’ve talked about before, but the last one is new, one that might be the biggest twist in the current plot, the French twist to be more precise, and also a great one when practicing intuitive eating, trying to reduce food waste and lower food expenses. It won’t be for everyone, which is why I’m including all the others that have been tried and true for me and I’ve put into practice in different moments of my life.

Ep184: Mini Q and A: "I'm a non-vegan who needs help in dealing with my vegan partner"

Ep184: Mini Q and A: "I'm a non-vegan who needs help in dealing with my vegan partner"

In today’s episode I answer a listener question that came from a very different point of view. I’m usually here to give you support on your journey to making more vegan choices (among the many other topics we discuss in our blog and podcast), but this time around, the person who needed support was a non-vegan, trying to find peace and balance with their vegan partner.

The question by our “Sam” goes as follows:

“I’d appreciate if you could introduce tips to help a non-vegan partner who is never willing to change his/her lifestyle feel comfortable with their vegan partner. How not to annoy/bother them.”

    Let's get right to it!

Ep181: Mini Q and A: Eating Processed Foods as a Vegan

Ep181: Mini Q and A: Eating Processed Foods as a Vegan

In today’s Q and A episode I answer a listener question all about a common conversation vegans have amongst themselves, but even more so, that non-vegans have with vegans regarding how mainstream this movement has gotten, and the availability of many alternatives to meat and dairy, such a vegan meats, vegan cheeses, etc. I’ve addressed this question in the past in other Q and A episodes but never on its own and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to give you my perspective on processed foods. Is it healthy and safe to eat vegan processed foods like vegan burgers, meat alternatives, cheeses, etc? Today I talk about all the nuance surrounding vegan processed foods and how to answer questions about them.

Compassionate & Kind Veganism

I’m an imperfect vegan. I eat mostly plant based, but since I’m at the beginning of this journey I do slip up sometimes.

Listening to Kim is like listening to an encouraging friend. She’s not judgmental. She truly believes every step you’re taking towards veganism makes the world a better place, so she’ll cheer you on every step of the way. Her podcasts give me the motivation to keep going.

Best vegan podcast for Newbies & seasoned vegans

I’ve listened to a few health and vegan related podcasts but Brownble. So authentic, informative, and optimistic. I love that this podcast is holistic in physical and mental health. Even though our journeys are different, we are still all learning how to make a positive impact and sustainable change in our planet. Very relatable and with tips that are applicable. I always listen during my walk or jog. Great motivation 💚🧡💛🌱🐾🌱🐾🌱.
