Deserves examination

Listening to most recent episode on electrification...opening statements are mistaken. Historically, we have never moved away from energy sources when a 'new' one arrives. We use the same amount or more of the old sources while new sources are exploited. This information is findable, not a secret. Wind and solar are not making a dent in our electric current power use. Again, this is well documented. Further demands for 'green' electric exacerbates the divide. Wind and solar require huge tracks of valuable (farm) land, are ugly, are maintenance intensive, hardware is short lived and turbines are not recyclable and kill or damage wild life on a large scale. Climate change by humans, if it occurs, is so difficult to measure, that the effect is next to nill, if at all. We would do well, as a species, with some warming. We will and have suffered in periods of cooling. Do your own research, Kristof. I won't listen to 'the message' repeated from a political agenda. You know better. The green agenda is a political lie.
Absolutely top notch facts if you disregard their extreme leftist global warming catastrophe beliefs

I love listening to this podcast. Thank you for the great work! The factual information is excellent. The only issue I have is that on some episodes their extreme view of global warming and leftism is sometimes pushed as fact. I just disregard it because they usually direct it back to real factual information. I have a biblical world view and the information in this podcast aligns with being as good of stewards of our resources as we are capable of doing. But, the idea that catastrophe is on it’s way if we don’t change carbon emissions immediately isn’t factual, but a belief - an educated guess that has become a religion in itself. However, if we can swing the whole world - especially countries destroying our earth and lives into being good stewards instead of desiring power and money, everyone will greatly benefit! I do enjoy hearing what I don’t know and learning so many guests perspectives on this podcast!
Great show!

Amazing information, Terrible audio quality
01/22/2023
I highly recommend this podcast based on the information shared and the exceptional level of knowledge of the host and guests. I have learned so much about building science, indoor air quality, and providing comfort to building occupants. It has totally reshaped the way I see and approach construction! However, I have an extremely difficult time hearing this podcast. The audio has a consistent echo like it was recorded in an empty unfinished room. The sound reflections muddle the audio causing me to focus on trying to understand the words instead of focusing on the topic being discussed. Additionally, the sound level on the podcast is lower than my other podcasts. I often find myself having to significantly turn up the volume. I do 95% of my podcast listening on the road. This podcast is the inconvenient 5% because I loose to much when road noise is added into the mix. My only other comment is that the host can sometimes lean into global warming a little hard. If you do not have the save views as he does, hang in there. This podcast will give you spectacular insights on improving peoples lives through design and construction. The same techniques can be used to reach different end goals.
