Enjoy listening to the podcasts.
I’ve enjoyed listening to the podcast for a couple of years.
I'm Moving Back!
My wife and I are currently out in Oregon. I moved out to Portland in 2016 for grad school after living in Milwaukee for undergrad. The moment I left Wisconsin, I realized how incredibly great it is and began to miss it - although Oregon has been a great home for the last 7 years. I appreciate the enthusiasm that all the hosts share about the great state of Wisconsin and my Oregonian wife and I are very excited to be tourists in Wisconsin when we move to Milwaukee this fall. Thank you for all the great suggestions. I will add a shout out to a supper club I am surprised hasn't been mentioned in this podcast. Growing up in Portage, my family and I used to drive out to Cimarolis Supper Club, well-known for their award-winning flat-iron steaks and (of course) brandy old-fashioneds. If none of you have been there, I highly recommend it! Thanks Cabin Podcast!
Great banter, great for trip planning!
We’re headed on a road trip this summer and headed into Wisconsin! We have never been to Wisconsin so I was looking for some info and stumbled across The Cabin Podcast! Woah! Not only have we learned so much about Wisconsin but we are now super excited to visit the state! We added details to our road trip that we never would have otherwise! I have been binging all the episodes that pertain to where we are going (Devil’s Lake, Green Bay, Door County, Milwaukee, to name a few) and others as well. We love the hosts’ voices and their jolly banter. We even looked up some homes on zillow to see how affordable the state was in case we want to move there!!! Thank you!!
