Night at Howling House Part 1 :: The Dare

Night at Howling House Part 1 :: The Dare

The lazy days of summer are at an end and school is about to begin... but for five Arkham youths, reading, writing, and 'rithmetic is the least of their worries. They're spending the night in a notorious abandoned house and local legends say no one has ever lived to tell the tale.
Of course, no sane schoolkid would dare to trespass in Howling House, but twelve-year-old Tenderfoot, Tommy "Woods" Northwood, his precocious kid sister Chelsea, and a forlorn little boy known only as "Dirt" don't have a choice. Roger Simmons, the neighborhood bully, and his protégé, Joey Davenport, have the leverage and pugilistic prowess to make a very convincing argument.
Will they survive to see the sunrise, or is there something sinister waiting for them in that decrepit domicile?
Content Warning: Violence, harsh language, child endangerment and abuse, bullying, colonialist terminology for and mention of violence towards indigenous peoples, ableist language, alcohol use,and reference to gun violence.

Night at Howling House Part 3 :: Playthings

Night at Howling House Part 3 :: Playthings

Five children have dared to spend the night in Howling House and already this sleepover has become the stuff of their deepest, darkest nightmares. First, they encountered a strange cat that spoke a dire omen before it ran away. Then, they discovered a grotesque rat creature living in the walls - and it had a human face. But perhaps most shameful and disturbing of all - the truth came out that Tommy Northwood, proud Boy Scout, stole his scoutmaster’s knife. In the wake of that startling revelation, his sister, Chelsea, has left the side of her deceitful brother to follow the sound of the uncanny cat, yowling upstairs.

DELIGHTFUL

Just finished binging series 2 and this show is exquisite.

It only takes one bad apple to ruin the batch

Father Grandfather is trying to be funny but is really just played by a jackass who gets off derailing things.

Incredible

The direction this show is headed for season 3 is truly impressive. It’s also the first ttrpg podcast I’ve heard that’s spoken knowledgeably about Thelema and even offered legitimate criticism of it.

However, despite its high quality, this explicit podcast should be labeled “woke” due to the concerns of its commenters. ;)
