MUST-LISTEN for leaders!

I started listening to Carey’s podcast shortly before the onset of COVID, and I haven’t stopped. I decided to go back to the very beginning of the podcast, and there is so much gold in those early episodes.

As a former pastor and Christ-follower, he approaches things from a decidedly Christian perspective, but the leadership principles are just good, solid methods, whether you ascribe to any faith tradition or none at all. If you’re a leader and you only listen to one podcast, make THIS the one!

W.L. Duke ,

I Never Regret Listening

I am a young pastor who works with college students. Both the wisdom I hear from older leaders and the observations I hear from thought leaders are incredibly helpful. Even if I don’t know a guest on a given episode, I always walk away with some meaty food for thought.

Jaker Learner ,

Alison Cook episode

I continue to be blessed by Carey’s podcasts. Some shows give me particular pause. Carey’s convo with Alison Cook is one such episode. In addition to the incredible wisdom that is obvious in what Alison says, I will forever remember 3 takeaways.
1. Carey posing the conundrum of therapy without church and its converse , church without therapy.
3. Alison’s response from the great commandment..love God, neighbor, (as) yourself!
3. Name it; Frame it;Brave it.
