Entering into a world of dust and dolls, Dirk Visser became part of the cast of Niles in the later 1900s. Dirk shared in many amazing experiences and opportunities as a fisherman, cafe owner, soap maker, a philosopher and now a writer. 

Dirk does not waste his experiences. Instead, he uses them to reflect on his life in order to understand it well and learn more about how to have a better life. 

This simple, yet profound, conversation deepens the pool in Niles. Who knew that in such a small community you would find such a wealth of experience and reflection.
