Absolute Best
I stumbled onto your YouTube channel Biographics, and the Geographics. I have watched them on and off (depending on topics covered) for what I can assume is several years now. Those i find to be more “formal”. However through those channels I stumbled going The Casual Criminalist. I have a longer commute to and from work, so I can usually get one podcast episode in the morning and one in the afternoon (depending on length of course). I absolutely love Simon’s random tangents and his style of thinking out loud as those he’s having a conversation with not only the listen but also his writer. Brilliant idea Whisler boi. Lol Once I was all caught up with The Casual Criminalist, I needed something new to entertain my brain while driving to and from work, which is when I discovered “Decoding the Unknown” also phenomenal! But my morbid brain needs true crime!!! So waiting for new episodes is hard..
I do have a suggestion for an episode, “The Boston Strangler”. Just a thought or idea. I’d like to see Kevin/Katie’s take on it, along with Simons amazingly on pointe British satire.
Keep it up Fact Boy
This show finds a great balance between informative and entertaining. Simon’s comments help soften the harshness of the subject matter while still being respectful to the victims. All the script writers do an excellent job of finding facts that keep me engaged. Jen’s subtle SFX injections are just the icing on the cake. Keep up the good work gang.
Simon is a hidden gem
Some drunk girl at a bar turned me onto this podcast and I’m obsessed lol Simon is hysterical and I really enjoy his extra commentary. I love how he tells all the details but keeps it lighthearted. I have now started using “Wuttt are yuhhh doing?” With a fake British accent bc of Simon in my daily life 😂
