You are alone and lost surrounded by thousands of identical looking trees. The wind moves the branches overhead, making eerie noises, and suddenly you feel the rain start to come down. Then you see the dim outline of an old house through the break in the trees, and you walk quickly towards it, only realizing when you stand before the forboding house, on the other side of the broken entrance gate that it appears to be abandoned. There’s no light coming from any window. The wind picks up and the rain soaks you to the bone, and you realize you have no choice but to take refuge in the House of the Nightmare.
