They were focused on provision. Jesus was focused on belief. Even after witnessing miracles, their anxiety grew louder than their memory. Jesus reminded them that temporary needs should not dominate their hearts. The real danger wasn’t missing bread — it was spiritual drift. False alarms distract us from real emergencies. The question is: What has your attention right now — and is it truly the real danger?

    What is Love?

    I didn’t even watch the Super Bowl this year—once I realized the Broncos weren’t in it, I just wasn’t that interested. I skipped the halftime show, knowing there would be debates about it anyway. But one line stuck with me: the idea that the only thing more powerful than hate is love. That got me thinking—what really is love? I took to social media and asked that question, and the answers poured in: love is staying no matter the emotion, choosing someone daily, sacrificing, growing, serving selflessly, caring without hesitation. There were so many beautiful responses—but it led me to a deeper question: what is love according to the Bible?
