    Radical Obedience: The Fight to Surrender- Ps Meagan 29 March 2025

    In this Podcast, Ps Meagan recaps the vision God gave TCC last year which leads to Psalm 126:1-6, in which there will be beakthrough through sowing in tears. But what God is doing isn't just about us - it's much much bigger! Faith and Obedience is what positions us so that God can do all that He wants to do. Faith is sometimes the easy part - obedience is not! But James 2:17-24 tells us that they both go together. Faith comes by hearing the word of God and obedience becomes a struggle when we don't have faith. Obedience doesn't produce faith - faith comes by obedience. And faith grows by the word of God. True faith isn't just believing God can do it - but trusting Him to step in. Seeking Him in all things is the key to having everything added unto you. Seeking Him produces obedience and our obedience can be the key to someone elses breakthrough.

    The Fight of Faith - Ps Chris - 16/3/2025

    In Numbers we see that 12 spies, 1 from each of the tribe of Israel, were sent to check out the promised land. These men were leaders and the land was that which God had said He was 'giving them.' 10 came back with a negative report, 2 came back full of faith and hope. Caleb and Joshua believed what God had said and wanted to take the land. They trusted God. They didn't not deny what they had seen, but they demonstrated their trust in God. We have been called to trust God in the same way - no matter what it 'looks' like. God will never let us down - He has our back. There is nothing He does not know about us or our situation. We cannot hide from him. And He says that we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. Faith is knowing God and knowing that what He says is true. Faith is our fire extinguisher. Caleb and Joshua eventually took the promised land because of faith. Be obedient when God gives you the land. Take it! Enlarge your capacity!

    Faith is not about believing, but doing - and this requires bold faith and radical obedience! God wants people who are all in - not half. Not maybe. But people who will obey Him with their lives. We can't just talk and read about the words of Jesus, we need to obey it. Radical obedience is a faith move! God is asking us to obey Him, not to make our lives boring and bound by rules, but to guide our lives and help us. God wants to take us from a rubber dingy to a cargo ship. The storm doesn't change, but he brings us to a place of safety. What was the last thing God asked you to do? Have you done it?

    It's time to be courageous! Regardless of what things look like in the natural, we need to be a part of the outcome. Joshua had to have courage to cross the Jordan river after Moses died. He wasn't a super human - he was simply obedient. He saw many things - devastation and miracles. Courage starts with a choice! If you are feeling discouraged, find someone who will encourage you! Courage is when we go beyond our fear and walk in the spirit of power that God has given us. Obedience requires sacrifice which eables provision. We need to stretch our faith and enlarge our capacity - which is often very uncomfortable. But if we want to enlarge our territory, then we have to be open to the 'stretch.' Where is God asking you to enlarge your capacity?

    The Fight of Faith - Ps Chris - 16/2/2025

    The fight of faith is hearing God speak to us - and obeying! And obeying is the hardest part! So often we struggle to know if God is speaking to us but John 10:27 says that sheep hear his voice. Often we feel our heart skip a beat when the Holy Spirit speaks to us and the faith step is following God and taking action. We 'walk' by faith - which is an action. Abiding in God is not idling in God, but when we take a step in faith, we allow God to intervene. Real faith is hearing God speak - and acting on it!

    Often we are called to trust God in the 'in-between' and believe that what God said He will do - He will do! Joshua was given the promised land but he had to stand and fight. Are you up for the fight? Are you willing to see the walls of Jericho come down? Circumstances may try and shake us and take us away from trusting God but we have to be convicted that no matter what - we will stand and take hold of the crown of eternal life. We are in a spiritual battle and God has given us weapons to fight and finish the race. And the greatest weapon we have is PRAISE! Praise acknowledges the greatness of God and that He is bigger than our battles. We are in this fight together. We are an army and we are stronger together. And praise is the victory

    New Year New You! Ps Meagan 26/1/2025

    The bible was given to us to change our lives, not to give us knowledge. Romans 2:2 tells us to not conform to the pattern of this world - which is daily and ongoing. When we mess up we should be running TOWARD God - not away from Him. Ps James Murray says that church is an anchor which helps us with our weekly drift. The longer we stay away, the more likely we are to conform to the world's ways. Our race towards the end is not a sprint, but a long marathon. We fix our eyes on Jesus who is the prize and we are called to persevere so that we can make it to the finish line. Perseverance trough trial brings us closer to Jesus and God remains faithful towards us in every season of our lives!
