Donald Trump and Charles Spurgeon
Dr. Owen Strachan discusses the saying 'of two evils choose neither' attributed to Charles Spurgeon. He clarifies that Spurgeon did not mean to opt out of politics or difficult choices. Instead, Spurgeon cautioned against falling into unsound doctrine and having an unloving spirit. Strachan emphasizes that Spurgeon called for political engagement and expressed his opinions on consequential political matters. He also highlights Spurgeon's involvement in social causes, such as church planting, founding orphanages, and addressing social ills. Strachan encourages Christians to be salt and light in the political realm and to follow Spurgeon's example of putting faith into action.

Is Russell Moore Right About Richard Dawkins?
Dr. Owen Strachan reacts to an article by Russell Moore on Richard Dawkins, the famous atheist, who recently referred to himself as a cultural Christian. While Dawkins does not believe in the Christian faith, he recognizes the value of Christianity in terms of its civilizational and aesthetic effects. Russell Moore seems to think that this is a bad thing, but Owen thinks that while there may be dangers to a sort of "cultural Christianity", it's a sign of something more significant happening.

Customer Reviews
He got me on the leggings :(
First encountered Dr. Strachan on an Anchored North debate where he was just ID’d as a professor named “Owen.” Little did I know he was THE Owen Strachan. I heard some other talks of his on Dial In ministries on YouTube, and saw him at G3 and now appreciating his podcast. I appreciate his self-deprecating humor and engagement with cultural topics, especially masculinity. I just listened to his episode on modesty & leggings today and as a woman who has lived in leggings for probably 10+ years, it for real never even entered my mind that it was immodest! He gets me thinking (sadly lol). Fight the good fight, Dr. Strachan!
Grateful
Owen Strachen unashamedly presents gospel truth amid a sea of evangellyfish minded men who cave to the ever changing cultural demands.
Excellent Perspective
I’m from Yarmouth, Maine and didn’t hear the gospel until age 26 in wyoming. I could not have told you anything about Jesus or the Bible. Mr. Strahan, please encourage young pastors to consider ministry in Maine. It is an incredibly dark culture that needs the light of the gospel to shine brightly. Thank you for your ministry.
