Something I never heard or saw before…..
I’ve watched and listened to Kensho Wantanabe’s Phil Orch pre concert lectures for three years. Saw him conduct many of his Phil Orch concerts — from subscriptions to family concerts. And even watched him coach people for a “ConductUs” event. This is the first time I heard Kensho totally lose it when he didn’t correctly get the answer to the Pairs quiz. Obviously this is due to the power of suggestion on the part of the commentary preceding the quiz. “We was robbed!” Come for the humanity, stay for the intelligent conversations on many topics related to the would of classical music.
Classical Music Fun
An entertaining, light-hearted insight into the world of classical music. The 3 hosts are not only knowledgeable, but they also possess great communication skills and affably interact with each other. I find this a great way to learn about classical music from a professional’s point of view. It is pure fun listening to Will, Kensho and Tiffany.
For Classical Diehards and Dabblers
This is a well produced and engaging music podcast that will appeal to diehard classical music fans and people might only dabble in the genre. The three hosts are knowledgeable, bringing their professional point of view to bear in discussions ranging from composer trivia to music industry developments. Great stuff overall!
