This week we welcome all the way from London, Alfie Noakes. Alfie is a Film Journalist turned Stand-Up MC, Promoter and Comedy Coach.
His passion is for encouraging, and supporting, those who want to get into stand-up. Or at very least, use comedy skills to enhance their private and business lives.

EP 360: Second Comedy Career with Brenda Pontiff
This week we welcome Brenda Pontiff. Brneda started stand up in Houston, Texas, and began working on her stand-up comedy skills at The Comedy Workshop's Comix Annex. A few years later, she became a New Face at the famed Improv in Los Angeles. She was also a regular at Igby's and toured as a feature act for franchise clubs including Punchlines, FunnyBones, and Laff Stops.
She took a 14-year break in the early 2000s to focus on her global business development career but has happily returned. Comedy is like the Mafia, you can never leave.

After making a bet that led her to her first open mic night in the summer of 2022, she experienced quick success and was booking official gigs after only three open mics! Quickly becoming a favorite in the Triangle, Kiki is known for her hilarious observations of human behavior and for working out her emotional issues in a group therapy session with the audience. She is the proud world record holder for “Mittens Cup Stacking” on the Comedy Game Show.

EP 356: Carol Metcalf - Stand Up In Santa Barbara
This week we welcome Carol Metcalf. Carol has been making people laugh all of her life. As an Air Force kid who went to over 10 schools growing up, humor was a save weapon of choice. She has appeared on the road at comedy venues throughout the Southwest and introduced her one woman show “My Life Is Too Vivid” in Austin during South by Southwest.
She has written 10 plays and has been in 2 Independent films which won awards at the Santa Barbara Film Festival one being “First in Ten”.
She has used Comedy to help Military Vets with her Humor as well honored from Fort Sam Houston Beach Pavilion in San Antonio Texas working with wounded Vets.
