Bad police job , not great reporting either

This started out well , but fell apart . His wife thought Fred did it . She blamed it on PTSD & his navy seal training Vietnam . Fred Lamb claimed he’d killed someone in wartime and then Shelley . Now he says he didn’t and oh by the way he wasn’t a seal . The other people in the case were doubted on their memories , but Fred and Linda weren’t . After this happened the police only wanted the African Americans ons the football team and the Hispanics bad boys as their suspects. They investigated the roommate who wasn t there as if she was a crime . They didn’t even think it was odd a married drunk policeman staying with a friend who’s DNA was on site .
The police “ lost” lots of evidence and the only detective , Terry , who did a thorough job on the case believes the ex policeman did it . The police deserve a lot more scorn than they got. I think this podcast gave the family hope , then came up believing it wasn’t. That interview the Lamb’s was soft . The reporter indicates she may be leaning toward Fred .But at the very end , the last minute it’s Larry ?

Advertisements make this unlistenable

I was unable to keep up with the first episode due to all of the commercial breaks. Without even knowing where the series is going, I would have been willing to pay rather than face multiple breaks per episode. Shame, regardless of where the story goes I would have been happy to listen more.

Great story

Loved this story. So many twists and turns. Not at all what I expected. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I’m currently looking for more of Kim’s reporting.
