The College Admissions Process Podcast

This podcast is beyond helpful as it provides clarity on the College admissions process. I need to highlight there is a book out from Dr. Durante, STRAIGHT FROM THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE, that is even more insightful. I highly recommend this book.

John’s interviews are a fantastic resource for teens, their parents, and those who support high school students. Not only do listeners learn about college admissions but they can get a glimpse of a specific college before investing time and money on official visits and applications. Thank you, John, and please keep the episodes coming!!

Thank you John for doing a great service. May I suggest that you put some emphasis on the works of the schools’ career centers?

As a parent in the process, I have come to really appreciate this podcast as a way for featured schools to show a bit of personality and really highlight what’s unique to them beyond the CDS and marketing material. The admissions officers really do give good tips you won’t find elsewhere, and I’d consider it required listening for students and support crew as they gear up to apply. John has been incredibly diligent with this project, and most schools on our daughter’s list now have an episode! Kinda great! Thanks, man!
