5 takeaways for a great podcast

The community podcast is a great podcast. I rate podcasts by 5 different key takeaways that either make or break a podcast. The first one is the host within this podcast you have the host Lester Class who is not only consistent with the content he puts out but stays aware of feedback and allows the consumers voices to be heard. He also does a good job at coming into the podcast relaxed but informed on who he invites. The questions he ask are not only helpful for allowing the audience to understand the guest but take a look inside a deeper layer of what their art or projects mean to them. The 2nd Takeaway is guests when getting into the podcast marketplace it’s crucial to pick guests that are not only entertaining but have a lot to offer in terms of insight. This podcast does a good job at having little and making a lot by allowing the guests to shine in their own ways and be able to express what makes them important to having a story worth sharing. The third takeaway is quality as far as visuals go the scenery is simplistic but doesn’t distract or take anything away from the podcast or the viewer and for audio members they won’t necessary feel as if they are missing out on just listening to the audio while on the road. The sound quality is also good. The 4th takeaway is structure. The unexpected can leave viewers with entertainment but when left unraveled and unchecked it can cause the viewer to wonder if they left the podcast with any new or exciting insight into the guests life. The community podcast doesn’t have that issue for the most part and seems to do a good job at keeping the flow consistent and upbeat. The last and final takeaway is marketing while it’s not important for the listeners experience it is important on allowing others around you to grow familiar with the brand and adds professionalism along with credibility with the listening experience. The community podcast has an astounding organic growth due to the hosts ability to promote and attract others around him and on social media with the way he highlights reels and guests on his podcast. Overall that’s why I feel the community podcast is a 5/5 podcast and in its infancy only has room to improve and grow.
