The Sex Series: Our Sexual Fantasies Are Roadmaps (Interview with Therapist Jay Stringer)
On today's show, I have Jay Stringer joining me to talk about our unwanted sexual behavior and thoughts. Jay is a therapist who is particularly interested in helping people find healing from sexual brokenness, and even more specifically, by helping people to listen to their lust. He says that Sexual fantasies are roadmaps and they pinpoint the location of your past harm and highlight the current roadblocks that keep you from freedom. If we pay attention, our sexual brokenness will reveal the way to healing.

I’ve been longing for a real and honest conversation among Christians! Thank you!
Good to hear your voice :)
Hi Sarah Mae. Just want you to know that it was great to hear your voice again! I can really relate to feeling “stuck” in this season as well. Praying blessings over you today.

I needed this
I fell upon your podcast by accident, the series on sexuality hit home, I have been reading the book Love Thy Body, and it speaks on so much of what you covered. As a divorcee I have struggled with sexuality and the book and your podcast have been encouraging to be celibate. (Prayer prayer prayer for this journey). I bought your book tonight as well to continue my own path of healing. I have begun listening to all your past podcasts during my runs, and there is always take away. I enjoyed the gaslighting information as well as I seem to fall into these unhealthy relationships at times. I want you to know I appreciate you sharing and your podcast.
