I took the Masterclass, I can’t remember when, but maybe 2021. I had put on a bit of weight because at the same time Covid lockdown I started a new medication to help with an auto immune condition I had been dealing with for years which made it impossible for me to eat and a bunch of things that I really missed! I was on an autoimmune protocol diet for two years and was so tired of food restrictions! So when Covid hit along with this new medication, I started eating a bit too much. One thing my family always still talks about, because I wasn’t at CrossFit Sunday mornings was how much they loved the fact that I made homemade waffles piled with fruit and whip cream lol. With EC’s lazy macros, I have maintained my current weight for the past few years. I definitely don’t feel like I’m on any kind of a diet. I do restrict my sugar only because I find when I have sugar it really affects my rheumatoid arthritis. I hit my protein, fiber with the 800 g challenge every day. I’m sure they’re not the healthiest, but I do have found Rebel keto ice cream and some of the keto treats which satisfy my need for an after dinner treat. It is super easy to follow and you don’t feel like you’re depriving yourself of anything. I highly recommend EC’s Masterclass.

This is by far my favorite nutrition podcast. If you just started it, go back and listen to all the episodes because they are all SO GOOD! I like learning about nutrition and healthy habits and frankly I was getting fatigued listening to podcasts, getting excited about what they had to say, just for them to sell me supplements. I have never felt like EC is trying to sell you anything and therefore I actually trust and listen to her advice. She always promotes researching on your own and you can tell she actually reads the research. I also love her style- she is direct and to the point but also has this positive, engaging energy that keeps me listening. I recommend this podcast to everyone I know and the last person I sent an episode to said “Wow I listened twice in a row so I could take notes the second time around!” I could keep going on how about how wonderful the show is and how great EC and Patrick are, but I’ll wrap it up and just say I absolutely adore this podcast and it has quickly become loved in my family and friends circles as well!

I’ve listened to dozens and dozens of nutrition-related podcasts, and Consistency Project is one of my top 3 all time favorites. Do not ‘do your own research’ or listen to ‘nutritionists’ who very often are driving a narrative and not following the science. Seek out expert Registered Dietitians like EC. Just listen to any one of her outstanding episodes to cut through the noise and get REAL research-driven facts. No dogma. No half-baked theories. Highly recommended to anyone confused about diet culture.
