Love reading all of the negative reviews. It really gives you insight into why the country is spiraling down into the abyss. Starting trade wars with allies, storming the capital, undoing the constitution, and believing the very conspiracies this podcast highlights. Crazy times ahead. The beginning of the end of democracy.
Meh. Interesting but annoying

I heard the host interviewed on another podcast and thought he was very entertaining so I decided to give his podcast a listen. The first episode was okay but then, like other reviewers, I grew tired of hearing “dear listener“ every time he addressed the audience. And he does have a rather halting way of speaking which is annoying. Would help if he spoke more naturally. Could be good, but I’m not sure I want to continue torturing myself to get to the end. After listening to an episode from another season I was further disappointed by the annoying vocal fry and monotone sentence ending of Ashley Fantz. There is something incredibly annoying in the voices of many narrators and news reporters. A ho-hum drop in the last syllable, always on the same note, with very little inflection in the rest of the sentence. Tedious to listen to. Is there some bad news school these people attend to learn how to speak this way?

He makes very tenuous or outright fabrications about connections between the tapes and acts of violence. If you read anything beyond magazine articles you can see how there was bad ideas in the groups, but those were often incited to action by FBI or CIA.
