    What Is Content Marketing?

    What Is Content Marketing?

On this episode of the Content Collective Podcast, we're talking all things CONTENT MARKETING!

    You'll hear us discuss:

    What content marketing is
How we go about creating content for our own business
What's the best ways to use content in your business to amplify your message and convert your audience

What is Content Marketing? Content marketing is consumable media that educates your audience, influences their thoughts and behaviors, and inspires them to take action.

It’s easier to build a business than it is to build a relationship with your audience.

The best ways to use content in your business to amplify your message and convert your audience:

    1. Blogs are still winning For SEO purposed, but you should also be doing microblogging on Instagram.

Blogs are great for service based businesses because it helps you educate customers and SHOULD be answering some of the most common questions you get about working with you or your products.

    2. Podcasting —studies show that people who listen to podcasts have a higher chance of converting into customers.

Podcasting and blogs go hand in hand. If you have a podcast but aren’t blogging, not sure what you’re doing with your biz life.
Podcasting is another way to educate your customers and introduce them to new concepts and and people.
Service based businesses and even SAAS Companies now have podcasts to educate their customers and even convert them.
TIP: Studies show that people who listen to podcasts are also more likely to purchase courses.

    3. Social media is content. It’s no longer something that you can ignore.

Social media should be apart of everyone’s content strategy because people consume content in bite/size pieces.
It’s a FREE way to build awareness!
The last 3 professionals I hired, including a book editor, I found using hashtags on IG!
Social media is good for microblogging, product updates, telling stories, customer journeys and testimonials, and communication with your customers.

    4. Live Content (IG and FB)

Builds relationships and demonstrates your expertise.
It serves multiple purposes for your content strategy—1) you can educate your customers based on your most frequently asked questions; 2) you can use your lives and turn them into podcast episodes; 3) you can create micro content for IG and/or FB
Lives are basically good for all businesses. Service based businesses can do what we suggested above. Product based businesses can go live to showcase their best selling products; Do makeover shows featuring their products on customers; do tutorials on how to use their products in various ways.
