Commuter Learning through Authenticity & Experience

I listened to "The Corporate Dropout" (TCD) for the first time today on my drive to work, and found it totally engaging. I listen to podcasts and books on my 1.5 drive to work and 1.5 hour drive home - it's my life, and therefore, I know what I want to hear from the hearts and minds of others. Rachael and April naturally are enthusiastic about learning as the listener, and I love it! Their energy is real...authentic. That matters, and TCD matters greatly to entrepreneurs and others who are simply trying to wring the most out of the work/life experiences. (Okay…is this too long of a review?) Too late now – I also enjoyed the discussion between the hosts about speaking up for yourself, and knowing your worth - both important messages even for people like me, who's been in the workforce for years! I picked up advice from a videographer who’s tactic of offering services for free to gain bigger clients was encouraging, and is just the type of info needed to keep things moving in business. Keep it up guys!! #TheCorporateDropout

I could relate

I know we’re only one episode in, but I had to share why I loved it. I loved feeling like I could relate. A lot of podcasts recommended to me are listening to someone about marketing or the 5 steps to this or that. This podcast was a breath of fresh air because it gave me a story where I could hear how someone started, the path she took, and there were pieces where I could relate. It made me feel better; like I will be okay, and I needed that more than anything at this stage of my business.
