Season 18 Episode 2: The Frost Giant's Daughter

"The clangor of the swords had died away, the shouting of the slaughter was hushed; silence lay on the red-stained snow. The bleak pale sun that glittered so blindingly from the ice-fields and the snow-covered plains struck sheens of silver from rent corselet and broken blade, where the dead lay as they had fallen. The nerveless hand yet gripped the broken hilt; helmeted heads back-drawn in the

One of my favorite podcasts!

Love the Cromcast! A great balance between looking at the stories and thinking about them and having fun with them!

Just the right balance

I’ve been interested in fantastic literature (and gaming) for as long as I can remember. These hosts make the topic approachable and accessible and give it an erudite touch as well, both with their own original thinking and their top-notch guest lineup. It’s a tough balance to hit, but they’ve done it.

Crom Cares Not! Fight Fool! Fight!

I have loved Robert E. Howard, Conan and barbarians my whole life. All the pulp adventure stuff is great! These guys have Cimmerian blood in their veins!

"Crom cares not! Chart your own path of blood, sword, wenches and victory! Now be off with your politically correct drivel before I cleave your skull!"
