Customer Reviews
Pretty good
This show is pretty good all around. Funny content and good movies are covered in this show. I will say that as a women I find the show a little sexist at times when the hosts discuss female characters. I try not to take it too seriously though. Overall it’s worth listening to if you love horror.
Amateur Hour
I’m a fairly casual horror movie fan, but enjoy thoughtful analysis of some of my favorites. I discovered this podcast and decided to try it out on my daily commute. Being a George Romero fan, I chose their review of Day of the Dead. What an irritating, meandering, unprepared mess. The Beavis and Butthead-esque tangential and non-related joking, etc., what a disappointment. Here’s an idea, why don’t you do a little more research, cover some topics that haven’t already been covered 10 times in the various documentaries about this movie, and for gods sake make some notes. They confuse people who worked on the film and just got a lot flat out wrong. I’m not sure what I was expecting. Apparently I already knew more about this movie than these guys do. They offer no real insight, metaphorical analysis or introspection on the message of the movie. Also, talk like you have a pair- be assertive, commanding, engage the listener. These guys sound kind of slow. This was very underwhelming, boring actually.
Shame
This show was great from 2017-2019. Went downhill quick as they tried to make this more PC. The brothers thinking they are going to have a acting career is laughable.
Stick to working at your parents theater.
