Probably not the target demo, but . . .
Old white lady here who found this by way of Tommy Orange’s book referencing A Tribe Called Red. Incredibly enjoyable, hopeful, educational, funny pod.
One of the best podcasts out there
Sterlin is a film geek through and through. He cares about stories and people and how stories came to be. He takes this approach to this podcast, looking through his cinematic eyes at all things Native/indigenous/First Nation. From ancestral food advocates to the arc of an indie musician’s life to painters on the rise, Harjo exposes non native and native audiences alike to the nooks and crannies of Indian Country today. Someone should sponsor this podcast already so he doesn’t have to do it for free. The stories are important, beautiful, dynamic, and honest. Subscribe yesterday lol.
Native Real Talk
It’s like listening to friend and family conversations that are meaningful, hilarious and random. Conversations you’ll never forget because they become our stories!
