What’s up heathens?

What do atheists and the Bible have in common? Other than biblical scholars, they are the ones most likely to have read the Bible front to back.

It’s no secret that many Christians do not follow this practice.

Today is Jesus Day on the Daily Bible Podcast. We are going to reveal the entirety of the New Testament laid out in the Old Testament. At least the Gospel and theology of Jesus Christ. Day 160 – God Has The Weirdest Fashion Sense

Day 160 – God Has The Weirdest Fashion Sense

Today, we find out exactly how weird God’s fashion sense is. He demands that the Israelites wear their children as ornaments. I don’t understand why he wants that but apparently, that is what Thor-God demands. Also, some more Jesus foretelling with the BS that Isaiah has had to put up with. And God tells the […]

First few minutes are the best

I love the short summaries of each chapter before it’s read. It gives you the highlights of what’s about to happen. Love you GE

Very good

I’ve been wanting a skeptical bible study for some time now, and I’m very glad to have it. That said, it isn’t exactly what I normally want from a study of ancient texts and contexts, because it’s more focused on entertainment and humor than actually understanding every fine point. It actually reminds me of ThugNotes on The Epic of Gilgamesh; you get the basic idea, you have a ton of laughs, and you leave having a whetted appetite for the full context and go look for something a bit more in depth in the parts that most interested you. But, I’m not sure I could expect more even from the actual “Bible In A Year” book they’re going through

All in all, it’s very fun to listen to and may appeal to a wider audience, but at the cost of a little bit of nuance. 9/10, rounded up to 5 stars

Outstanding

A great podcast from a great couple of people. This podcast is funny, and very true to GE’s regular YouTube content.
