Reality check!

Some of it may be hard to hear, but it’s a much needed reality check in a world of junk food addiction and obesity. It’s changed my whole outlook.

Great info without the fluff

Just a warning, lots of swearing and adult talk. So if you have kids, you need headphones! It’s great to workout to or do anything to. Lots of great information in each podcast. Definitely my go to for inspiration or if I’m feeling lazy that day. Check him out on YouTube bc his daily podcasts go with a daily video.

Inspirational and Informative

I absolutely love Papa Swolio’s “no BS” approach towards fitness and weight loss. I’ve lost about 75 lbs and currently lead a very healthy lifestyle. I eat very clean, practice intermittent fasting, do personal training, and workout 6-7 days a week. However, I didn’t used to eat healthy and work out. I used to be overweight, bloated, depressed, and angry. Now, my mental health is amazing. I’ve been consistently losing weight for about two years, but I didn’t discover Swolenormous until about a month or two ago. So although Papa Swolio wasn’t the original motivation for my healthy lifestyle choices, he definitely is a current motivation. I have no doubt that he will continue to be a motivation in the future, as well.

Papa Swolio inspires me to continue to work on my gains every single day. I listen to this podcast all the time, but especially while shopping at the grocery store. My entire mindset around food has changed. I don’t even want junk food anymore. It honestly disgusts me and doesn’t taste good at all. But every once and awhile, I’ll have that random desire to grab a bag of cookies that I used to love. Avoiding the cookies is actually quite easy. I just listen to Papa Swolio’s voice and think, “would he eat this?” If the answer is no, then it’s pretty darn easy for me to convince myself not to eat the junk food.

I know not everyone will like Papa Swolio’s straightforward and blunt approach, but it works for me. I don’t like it when people act like gaining tons of weight is okay/healthy. It’s not. I’d much rather have someone tell me the truth about what junk food and a sedentary lifestyle does to the body. The American diet is honestly so horrible, but people act like I’m the crazy one because I actually take my health and fitness seriously. Um, okay. Sure. I’m all about loving yourself, but it’s also okay to want to change into a better, healthier version of yourself.

To sum it up, Papa Swolio is a cool dude who actually wants to help people and who actually knows what the heck he’s talking about. I’m very thankful to him for constantly putting out educational and informative content.
