Dan’s Wit and Observations Carry the Show
Dan’s political insight and wit still carry the show. However the problem is the other characters on the show. His long time producer Mike is the only other interesting and insightful voice.
Stugotz is simply not funny. He is predictable and clichéd to a point that he becomes a bad parody of his own persona.
The worst of offenders are Amin El Hassan, whom has somehow latched and parlayed his paltry credentials, arrogant and often inflated sense of self analysis into a featured set on the show. His crack addled voice is enough for me to turn off the podcast, however worst yet, his analysis is routinely proven to be incorrect and or worst yet he is just not funny, charming, or well informed enough to be interesting. And for some reason he and the rest of the show believe that his juvenile behaviour and binge drinking stories are somehow funny and interesting. This is a classic case of someone being promoted routinely as a matter of default than merit.
The other offender is David Samson. He is the epitome of every worst stereotype for a sleazy, unethical, and generally corrupt executive! Yet sadly, Dan as usual has ignominious confused with interesting.
And Wittingham should be muzzled. Too much of a less than on air talent.
Drop the two from the show and lessen the third and the show is much better and palatable.
