Back for season two!

These guys do the best fan reviews of the MCU - and I say best because they aren't JUST fans - they don't just sing the praises of the show, they are willing to examine the weaknesses/flaws of the show as well. My go to pocast for Daredevil!

May I approach the bench?

Thank you team! I am here to congratulate you on a season well done! The serial is epic and absolutely must be experienced alongside Matt and Pete's commentary. I am definitely looking forward to season two. What I do ask is perhaps to fold in some commentary of the unique daredevil mixed martial art? I really appreciate how the show runners are portraying the evolution of Daredevil's fighting style which is more clearly empathized starting with boxing (close quarters battles of skill of hitting while avoiding being hit) and then Stick layering in kicks, movement and the use of tools. I hope they keep evolving this for the next season because I noticed it might have been rushed at the end with the gratuitous roof parkour and the almost too-neat dispatch of Fisk with the new suit and batons. A suit does not grant skill, it must be built, and the way they're doing that with Fisk must be done with Murdock as well. Realizing Matt's emotional imbalance and the fact that he didn't finish Stick's training means that Daredevils fighting style is still evolving, and hopefully it becomes a great portrayal of what I think is some great mixed martial arts, maybe a mix of dirty boxing and agile acrobatics. Anyways, I digress, great show and I'll be right here for season 2!

Really good

This podcast is really good! Super informative and the hosts really know their stuff. The mix of humor and knowledge is always appreciated. I have followed along with the podcast with watching the show and it has been really enjoyable. The only negative, in my opinion, is there is too much sucking on the Marvel teet. By that I mean, there is just so much praise for Marvel that it almost gets sickening. “This is a marvel female so we know she is going to be able to…” “This is a marvel show so you know that…” “A great thing marvel does…” “Marvel always does…” I am not a DC guy or a Marvel guy, I consider myself to be a fan of both and I know the podcast is attached to marvel, but it is feels like Marvel is being shoved down my throat. This podcast can stand on its own without the constant praise to marvel. Other than that, please keep up the great work.
